Corydalis yanhusuo + L-THP
SKU:
L-Tetrahydropalmatine (THP) is the main active alkaloid in Corydalis yanhusuo.
Both of these offer powerful help with relaxation, insomnia, nerve pain, mood, tolerance & addiction (especially with opioids) and more.
The dose is extremely important to get right because if you take a bit too much it's almost terrifying how it will drag you to sleep. And if you take more than that, it can make it hard to breathe, especially if you are also using other things that depress respiration such as alcohol or opioids (don't combine!).
40mg is the most THP I can take comfortable. 50mg was way too much. Do NOT order the THP in bulk formunless you have a reliable milligram scale. I suggest you try less at first, as you may be more sensitive than me.
1-1.5g of the Corydalis yanhusuo is a strong dose for most people. It contains a fuller spectrum of alkaloids and so may be more therapeutic for some things, but it is not as reliably digested as the pure THP.
Ask me for a free sample of Passionflower Extract! It's also calming and helps with sleep. I use 2g of it for insomnia. It's more gentle than yanhusuo/THP (and more forgiving if you take too much).

Do you suffer from Insomnia? If so, make sure to follow these tips before resorting to medications or herbs, as you may not need any of that stuff, or if you do, it will work better if you first do this:
Many people ignore Sleep Hygiene. Some tips are in this handout. Also, the blue light in your computer screen or phone should not be on past sunset (you can download a blue light filter app). As the handout explains, don't try to sleep if you are not sleepy. Instead, you can sit up and meditate--people often get sleepy when they try to meditate (letting go of thoughts as they arise, focusing on the breath).
Another trick that works well if you are having racing thoughts or the meditation is not making you sleepy, is to focus on doing a little massage. You can massage yourself or a partner, but basically you want to do a slower and slower massage that is rhythmic and easy to do with one hand. You can stop massaging for a second & start again, and so on each time with longer pauses. You'll find it is tiring and hypnotic and you will forget to keep massaging as you fall asleep.
Even more amazing is Wim Hof breathing, which can put you to sleep, reduce stress, help you meditate, and improve mood. Here's a good TEDx talk: www.youtube.com/watch?v=R53GljF7IxU
